On May 12, 2021, at a field meeting in Chernihiv, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the action plan developed by The Ministry of Regional Development for 2021-2023 to the State Strategy for Regional Development for 2021-2027.
It is a comprehensive document containing 207 measures and covers 34 of the 39 areas to achieve the 17 operational objectives of the Strategy. It contains joint activities of central, local executive bodies and local self-government bodiesісцевих органів виконавчої влади та органів місцевого самоврядування.
The adoption of dozens of bills and acts of the Government will be indicators of the implementation of measures. In particular, draft laws of Ukraine should be developed to introduce a system of strategic planning in Ukraine, development of industrial parks, implementation of energy efficiency measures.
The government, for its part, should adopt acts to establish an online platform (GIS system) for monitoring and evaluating the development of regions and communities, transparency in planning and controlling the use of natural resources, improving housing for war veterans and their families, monitoring and evaluating effectiveness. activities of heads of regional, Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations; development and approval of a new state standard of preschool education, increasing the availability of medical care with the use of telemedicine.
