On May 27, 2021 on the basis of "Bila Tserkva Cargo Aviation Complex" ("BVAK") an information seminar was held for the companies participating in the complex.
The main purpose of the seminar was to acquaint company representatives with the methodology and benefits of using resource-efficient and clean production technology (RESP), as well as to involve them in cooperation with the GEIPP Ukraine Project.
It will be recalled that in 2019 UNIDO chose BVAK as one of the three model parks in Ukraine to be transformed into an eco-industrial park (EEA). The selection was based on compliance with international framework criteria, where BVAK demonstrated a high potential to meet the EEA requirements.
On the way to reincarnation, as well as to improve the economic and environmental performance of enterprises of this complex by October this year on the basis of "BVAK" it is planned to assess resource efficiency and seek opportunities to build industrial symbiosis.
