A round table in the field of light industry was held

A round table chaired by First Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Dmytro Nazarenko was held on July 4 at a leading enterprise not only in Kyiv Region but in Ukraine as a whole. 

The industrial dialogue of the enterprises of the branch with the representatives of the authorities was initiated by Ukrlegprom - Ukrainian Association of Light Industry Enterprises in order to discuss urgent problems with the representatives of the authorities, ways to solve them and identify vectors for further cooperation.

Dmytro Nazarenko noted that one of the main tasks of the Kyiv Regional State Administration is to develop the industrial complex of the region and promote the formation of a better environment for business.

 the Kyiv Regional State Administration team headed by Vasyl Volodin , constantly promotes the implementation of significant investment projects in the Kyiv region, attracting domestic and foreign investors.

Support and implementation of important social projects that can help residents to realize their potential, find a decent job, and thus provide qualified personnel to enterprises in the region is important in the regional state administration, said the first deputy chairman.

Tetiana Izovit, President and Chairman of the Board of the Ukrlegprom Association, presented the achievements and opportunities of the light industry.

The round table discussed issues important for the development of the industry, in particular, social and personnel issues. Business leaders shared their experience and suggestions for solving industry problems.

Also, as part of the event, representatives of the Gorenie WWF presented the Canadian project SEW Ukraine, which aims to expand women's opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship in light industry.

After all, women predominate among those employed in the light industry, and this is about 75%.

Finally, the head of Kyivhuma LLC demonstrated the production to the participants and shared his experience of adapting to new challenges during the pandemic.
