The Ministry of Regional Development implements a sustainable and integrated approach to regional development, based on the planning and implementation of effective development projects in each region. Such projects must meet the priorities and priorities of regional strategies set by the State Strategy for Regional Development for 2021-2027, in particular, they must be aimed at implementing smart-specialization of the region.
Therefore, on July 1, as part of the continuation of the process of entrepreneurial opening according to the methodology of the European Union, 🇪🇺 held the first workshop "Smart Specialization: ) ", Which was aimed at discussing the field of smart specialization of the Kyiv region" Production of innovative food products with improved consumer qualities (functional food) ". During the event, a preliminary SWOT-analysis of the food industry of Kyiv region was presented. All present expressed their vision and provided suggestions for its improvement. It was agreed that the specialists of the department will work out new proposals and ideas and present them for consideration at the next meeting, which will take place in 3-4 weeks.
The purpose of the second meeting of stakeholders will be to develop project ideas for innovative development of the chosen area of smart specialization in Kyiv region.
